Angie came over last week and we decorated this gingerbread house. Our piping skills rock, don’t they??
Last Thursday I volunteered at the L.A. Regional Food Bank. My job was sorting cans on a conveyor belt–very Lucy and Ethel at the chocolate factory. Here’s a tip, though, next time you donate cans of food–make sure there’s an expiration date on each can, otherwise they won’t use them. Also, keep those half-eaten jars of peanut butter for yourselves (seriously, can you believe people do that?). I got this lovely fork pen as a thank you gift.
And on Sunday, Monica, Jess and her boyfriend, James, and Adana came over for some cookie decorating madness. What’s more fun than piping icing from a pastry bag onto some funny shaped cookies? Doing it with friends! It was great to see everyone and I loved having the little holiday get together at our place. Unfortunately, I was too lazy to take pictures of us actually having fun, but here’s a picture of our awesome cookies.
Today, Oatie and Roscoe got groomed. Oatie got the same ‘do, so she looks as pretty as always. However, Roscoe opted for a shorter cut. Doesn’t he look mature? Little guy is all grown up.
